Successes: Excavation Of Shallow Open Wells For Irrigation

These are wide and big shallow wells excavated where the underground water is at shallow depth in order to harvest the underground water. Irrigation section has been able to assist farmers to construct 52 shallow well in Githiga ward .The well were dug for communal use where a group of farmers selected the location for the well and they were provided with the excavator machine to construct the well.
