Laikipia Enjoys International Attention With The Visit Of American Travel Journalists
On November 2, 2018, the journalists were hosted by Fairmont and part of their activities included night in Mount Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki and a visit to the Equator, Ol Pejeta Conservancy Curio shops in Nanyuki town.
Speaking at a dinner for the Journalists at Mount Safari club, Deputy Governor John Mwaniki, made a pitch for the Northern Tourism circuit following a collaboration made between the county government and four other counties.
The county government is seeking partnership from tour operators to develop the tourism packages for the region.
Its possible to create a whole 7-day itinerary package from the Aberdare through Laikipia, Isiolo, Samburu and exit through Baringo,the DG said.
