The County Government of Laikipia through the Department of Agriculture in collaboration with Mpala Research Center has launched a free rabies vaccination campaign to certify better health of Laikipia animals.

The campaign was officially launched on December 3rd, 2020 by the Deputy Governor John Mwaniki, Director Livestock James Mung'ere and Mplala Research center representative Beatrice Wanjohi. The program is meant to go on for the next eight weeks
