Ground Breaking For The Construction Of A Male Ward At Rumuruti Sub County Hospital (LHS Rumuruti).
Shalimar Flowers Kenya Ltd in partnership with the Laikipia Health Service broke the ground for the construction of a male ward at Rumuruti Sub-County Hospital (LHS Rumuruti).
The male ward whose construction cost will be nearly nine million shillings will expand the inpatient capacity, for which the County The government will equip to double the bed capacity of the hospital.
The construction project is as per the hospital master plan and is in line with the Governor's Manifesto which initiates a vision for the establishment of a multi-specialty and super-specialty referral hospital of research and training in Rumuruti. The same hospital is also the location that the County Government will propose to the President to establish a non- pharmaceutical production plant according to THE PLAN.
The ward project is expected to conclude by December this year and be launched by His Excellency the Governor Joshua Irungu, along with other essential development infrastructure that will be completed for the same hospital by the county government within the first 100 days of his administration.
Hosting the team during the event was Dr. Arthur Mumelo, the Rumuruti Sub County Hospital Medical Superintendent.
