H.E. governor Joshua Irungu visited Nyahururu county referral hospital to review the progress of the Dialysis Unit. The county health management team and hospital management team accompanied him.
The 10-bed State-of-the-art kidney dialysis unit, which is at its final stage is designed to meet the diverse needs of patients with kidney diseases, it is also a great relief to our people who are suffering from kidney failures since they Will be able to access dialysis services without traveling far.
In order to ensure the continuous delivery of dialysis services NCRH will provide renal nursing management, pharmacist, dietician, renal clinical nurse consultant, renal support care clinic, and all general nephrology clinics.
Later the hospital CEO Dr. Patrick Waihenya led the team to the new Mother and Child Hospital (MCH)block which is 80% complete. Governor promised to have the MCH project fully completed in the next few months to facilitate the decongestion of male ward and also operations in current theater.
The new county administration is committed to giving excellent health care to all our patients.
