Governor Meets With Leadership Of Ontulili Association
This afternoon, in his office Governor Ndiritu was pleasured to meet representative members and leadership of Ontulili Association. They were led by Architect Lee Karuri.
Ontulili Association is a community driven association operating within the three wards of Umande, Segera and Nanyuki.
Governor ndiritu was happy to see the strength of community organizing in a way that is self driven and focused on delivering development outcomes for our people.
Indeed, development is about people and it can never be about the Government preferring solutions and making interventions that are devoid of the people’s participation .
The matter of Education came up consistently and hot in the heels in the ongoing education growth partnership initiative with Laikipia University and school principals, that was started last Friday, he is optimistic that the mentorship Programme planned for August will be a big success.
Governor comitted that they will study the Ontulili Association Strategic Plan 2018-2022 and see in what concrete ways we can partner with the association.
I continue to encourage such associations to thrive and focus more in changing the circumstances of apathy that greatly pervade our people.said the governor
