County Attorney

Born in 1986, Mr. Alexander Muchemi currently serves as the County Attorney to the County Executive Committee, chaired by His Excellency the Governor of Laikipia. He is an accomplished legal professional with a strong foundation in public law, governance, and strategic advisory.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Moi University and successfully completed the Advocates Training Program (ATP) at the Kenya School of Law.

Before joining the County Government, Mr. Muchemi served as a Commercial Law Lecturer at Cooperative University College, where he contributed to the academic development of future legal professionals. He also brings experience from the private sector, having previously served as the Regional Marketing Lead in the Nyahururu region.

His combined background in law, education, and marketing equips him with a unique perspective and a versatile approach to legal counsel and county governance.
