Pastor Dorcas Rigathi's Two Day Free Medical Camp In Rumuruti

Laikipia residents from Rumuruti and the surrounding areas are benefiting from a two-day Free Medical Camp mainly targeting the addicted in the society.
The medical camp was officially lauched by the Country Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi on March 14, 2024 at Rumuruti Stadium accompanied by H. E Governor Joshua Irungu, EGH.
I believe a time is coming in our nation where boys and men rejected because of alcohol and drug abuse will become admirable, employable and even employers, said Pastor Dorcas.
Governor Irungu applauded the many people who turned up on the first day saying they will benefit from proper treatment going forward.
This screening will make it easier to detect diseases early and enter into a treatment plan. The medical camp also brings drugs closer to the people who might not have access to medicine while those detected with chronic diseases will be referred to our hospitals and health centres for advanced treatment, the Governor said.
Also present: Laikipia County First Lady H.E. Grace Wakahora, Deputy Governor H.E Reuben Kamuri, Laikipia County MP Hon. Jane Kagiri, CECM Health Mr. Albert Taiti, Chief Officer Youth and Sports Jecinta Koree, DCC Riungu Laikera, APECK Chair-Laikipia George Munene, the House of Clergy among other Government officials.
