First Day Of Education Facilities Inspection

  0

In what was an exciting day, accompanied by my Government officials, representatives of the County Education Board, the TSC and other officials, we went out to the first day of Education Facilities inspection in Laikipia North specifically in Mukogodo West.

My Government remains committed to the registration and commencement of new secondary schools as approved by the County Education Board in January. We are committed to make a contribution to our overall Education agenda in the county with a keen focus on pushing up enrollment and transition rates.

Ilmotoik Mixed Day Secondary (in formation), Uwaso Secondary (has up to form 3 now), and Kurum Mixed Day Secondary School. Every child, without exception, has talent! And has a basic right to education!

We continue to step up efforts for a transformative agenda in Education and livelihoods for the citizens of our great county.

We also visited health facilities at Ilmotoik, Ewaso and Kimanjo.

Infrastructure for social development and investment in it is a key focus for my Government. This is a Pre requisite for transformative change and improving livelihoods and household incomes in our great county.

We had a series of very participatory meetings with the local citizens in the communities. As part of our stated effort and committed to engage more deeply for a qualitative and interactive conversation away from the “Big Man” syndrome variously perpetuated in our mainstream development arena.

We continue with day 2 of the same in Mukogodo East Ward today. Through Ethi, Chumvi into Olrajiju today.
