The County Government Of Laikipia Plans To Use KES. 264.5 Million As An Effort To Support The Vulnerable Families In The County

The County Government of Laikipia plans to use KES. 264.5 Million as an effort to support the vulnerable families in the county and those that will be adversely affected by the debilitating effects of corona virus pandemic.
The County, has set aside KES. 100 Million for this kitty and an additional KES 10 Million, expected to be raised from the salary cuts of Senior Government officials.
The County is purposed to raise KES 154 Million through the Covid-19 Emergency Fund Committee that was unveiled by the Governor this week.
These funds shall be used to provide a Home Care Package consisting food products and other essentials to about 40,000 households in Laikipia
